STUpendous First Sales: My Bread Journey Just Got Real

Today was magic.

I sold my very first loaves of bread—real, fresh-from-the-oven, handmade-with-love loaves—to real people who smiled, ate, and came back for more. I didn’t take any preorders. I didn’t advertise. I just baked, showed up, and offered what I had.

And they wanted it.

The Lineup

Here’s what I brought to the table:

  • šŸ§€ Four JalapeƱo Cheddar Mini LoavesBold, cheesy, and the perfect spicy twist on my classic dough.

  • šŸž Four Sandwich LoavesSoft, sturdy, and ready for any filling. These were built to be sliced, stacked, and devoured.

  • šŸ² Three Sets of Two Bread Bowls (Gifted)I gave these away with love—because when you’re proud of something, sharing it feels like the best kind of currency.

  • 🌾 One Classic Loaf (Gifted)Shared to say thanks, to spread the word, and honestly... because I just wantedĀ to.

And the Grand Total?

šŸ’µ $45 earned

šŸ¤ Plenty of smiles exchanged

šŸ’¬ So many ā€œThis is amazing!ā€ moments

🌟 One happy baker

Was it a full launch? No. But it was something even more meaningful: a spark.

People wantedĀ my bread.

They tore pieces off right there. They sniffed the bags with big smiles. They talked about what they’d serve it with. And they asked when I’d be baking again.

No Orders, Just Connection

What struck me most was how organicĀ it all felt. This wasn’t a formal drop. I wasn’t hustling for sales. I just showed up—with bread—and something beautiful happened.

Sometimes, the best marketing is the scent of sourdough still warm from the oven.

Why This Matters

I’ve put so much energy into perfecting my dough. Into shaping each loaf just right. Into dreaming up STUpendous Sourdough as something more than just a side hustle. And today, that energy met real-world validation.

This wasn’t just about bread. It was about being seen, being appreciated, and knowing I’m on the right path.

.

And let’s be honest: it felt STUpendous.

What’s Next?

This was just the beginning. I’m dreaming of more offerings, a flexible ā€œrequestā€ system, maybe a few themed drops (bread bowls + soup kits, anyone?), and a whole lot more kneading.

But for today, I’m just sitting in gratitude. The oven may be off, but my heart is glowing.

If you got one of those first loaves—thank you for believing in me. If you didn’t, don’t worry… the next batch is already on the way.
