Small-batch sourdough made by me, Stu, in Central Virginia. My microbakery is a personal, neurodivergent-owned project built around slow fermentation, simple ingredients, and creative flavors that I bake directly for your local sourdough requests.

Look through the available sourdough loaves, seasonal bakes, and limited options to see what sounds good to you.

Send a request for what you’d like. Behind the scenes, I’ll check availability based on my personal bake schedule.

I’ll follow up directly about availability, timing, and local handoff details so we’re on the same page.

Once everything’s confirmed, I prepare your bake with care and coordinate a local handoff so you can enjoy it fresh.

Bread Menu & Requests

24 Hour Sour

It’s all in the name: warm, tangy, deeply flavorful sourdough with a faster turnaround when availability allows.

Create Your Sour

Naturally leavened sourdough made my way, with simple ingredients, long fermentation, and room for custom inclusions or flavor ideas.

Sweet and/or Sour

The playful sweet side of STUpendous Sourdough: monkey bread, sweet loaves, candy-bar-style inclusions, seasonal sweets, and creative sugar-fueled bakes.

Sourdough Starter

Dehydrated sourdough starter for storage, gifting, travel, or bringing a starter back to life with flour and water.

A Note on Requests & Availability

Money collected through the request system is handled as a deposit. Final payment and specific handoff details are settled in person or directly with me. Please keep in mind that these are requests, not guaranteed instant orders. Availability can vary and not every item is available every week, as everything is baked by hand in small batches.

Custom Bakes & Seasonal Flavors

I focus on custom, request-based bakes rather than any fixed schedules. I believe bread is best when it's personal—I prioritize baking what you actually want when timing and ingredients align. This allows me to experiment with small-batch seasonal flavors and limited-run bakes throughout the year, keeping the process creative and intentional.

Most items are custom-requested based on what you need. Seasonal flavors and limited experiments appear based on my current bake plan and ingredient availability.

Direct Coordination

Availability changes depending on my schedule. I coordinate pickup or local delivery directly with you once your request is confirmed.
