Cancellation Policy

STUpendous appointments include fixed-price Quick Home Services, General Hourly Assistance, smart-home setup, digital help, and other practical projects within the scope shown on the service you select. Work outside that listed scope may require additional time or a separate quote. Fixed-price Quick Home Services require the deposit shown during booking. General Hourly Assistance may use different payment terms shown on its booking page. Any remaining balance is due when the booked service is completed unless otherwise agreed in advance. Additional work or time is performed only when available and agreed upon. Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty with at least 48 hours' notice. For services that require a deposit, cancellations, reschedules, no-shows, or inaccessible work areas within 48 hours of the appointment will forfeit that deposit. A new deposit may be required to reserve another time. Materials, parts, hardware, disposal, supply costs, and special purchases are not included unless the selected service description says otherwise or they were discussed in advance. Customers may provide materials, or Stu may pick up pre-approved materials when arranged ahead of time. STUpendous Services does not perform major electrical work, major plumbing, roofing, gas lines, structural framing, large remodeling, or permit-required work. If a project is outside scope, unsafe, or better suited for a licensed specialist, Stu will say so. Weather, safety concerns, unavailable materials, or project details that change the scope may require rescheduling. If STUpendous Services needs to reschedule due to weather, safety, illness, or another issue on Stu's end, any deposit will transfer to the new appointment time. Please provide accurate details, photos, measurements, and access instructions before the appointment so Stu can arrive prepared. Built slowly. On purpose. Done directly. By Stu.
